Can I choose the band set up?
How much does the band cost?
The band can go out as 5 - 11 piece band. The core line up is male and/or female vocals, guitar, bass, keyboard and drumkit.
On top of that you can add horns:
7 piece band - trumpet or sax
8 piece band - trumpet/sax
9 piece band - trumpet/sax/trombone
We recommend the 9 piece band.
Luxury 11 piece band - 5 horns
If you have a preference let us know.
We now have the option of adding a percussionist to all band sizes. (Highly Recommended)
The cost of the band depends on a number of factors from how many members of the band are required to the amount of time the band are required for and how far away the venue is. When you contact us we can go through these factors and send you an accurate price.
What do you require from us?
The band are fully self sufficient with sound and lighting.
All we simply require is enough space for the requested band.
- 11 Piece - Width 8m x Depth 4m
- 9 Piece - Width 6m x Depth 3.5m
- 6 Piece - Width 5m x Depth 3m
Power:
We require a minimum of four 13 amp plug sources.
Can you provide daytime entertainment?
How long do the band perform for?
Yes! We provide entertainment for all kinds of events, be it private parties, corporate functions or weddings.
We provide the following daytime entertainment options:
Jazz Duos/Trios & Quartets
Solo cocktail pianist
Guitar Duo
Latin Duo
Acoustic guitar & Vocalist
Acoustic band (small set up)
All functions are different but 95% of the time the band perform three 1 hour sets.
Some clients want more or less and this can be negotiated.
If my wedding for any reason my is cancelled or I want out of the contract is there a fee to pay?
Yes, the deposit you pay is non refundable unless the band cancel.
For other fees we refer to our cancellation policy:
The hirer reserves the right to cancel the agreement at any time however the following charges will apply:
Within 28 days of event - 100% of agreed fee
Within 29–56 days of event - 75% of agreed fee
Within 57-84 days of event 50% of agreed fee
Over-84 days of event 25% of agreed fee
Will you learn our first dance?
Yes! Whatever your first dance me be we will arrange a unique and special version for the band to perform live free of charge. If you would like additional songs that are not in our repertoire there is a small fee per arrangement.
What time will you arrive?
The band will arrive at least 1 hour prior to the start time of the event. If you require the band to arrive earlier this can be communicated and worked out.
How do you entertain guests in between sets?
We always provide a DJ playlist in between our sets. This way the party continues throughout the night! If you have a specific playlist you like let us know and we can play it.
Are the musicians always the same as in the promotional videos?
We have some of the most talented musicians in Scotland working for the band and whilst the singers and musicians in the video are always first call they may sometimes be unavailable due to their busy performing careers. Here at The Soul Establishment we have a collective of top professionals from the music industry we can rely on to step in and deliver music of the highest standard. It's better to be using busy performers at the top of their game! Booking in advance is recommended.
